Reserve your Ribbon Cutting
The Tullahoma Chamber is proud to perform a Ribbon-Cutting for New Members or Current Members with a significant milestone to celebrate. Ribbon-cutting events are a great way to Introduce yourself to the community, attract potential customers to your business, and get acquainted with fellow chamber members.
Our Chamber offers a $75 expanded ribbon-cutting option, a Member Plus Ribbon-Cutting for chamber members who seek greater visibility for renovation, expansion, milestone anniversary, relocation, new owner, and new location ribbon cuttings. Each member receives their first grand open ribbon-cutting at no cost.
Members will use our simple form to reserve a ribbon-cutting. Any applicable fees must be paid by the event date to guarantee services.
Grand Open Ribbon Cutting
Grand Open Ribbon Cutting to include your event listing on the Chamber website, event marketing is included in the Chamber's weekly digital newsletter, local media are invited to report the event [the Chamber cannot guarantee the event attendance by the media], the Chamber will provide a staff member to facilitate your ceremony, large ceremonial scissors and keepsake ribbon are provided, and a series of 10 digital photos of your ribbon cutting ceremony to be posted on Chamber’s social media. Members receive their first Grand Open Ribbon Cutting complimentary. (Must be used within 1 year of business opening),
Member Plus Ribbon-Cutting
The Member Plus Ribbon Cutting option is for chamber members who seek greater visibility for renovation, expansion, milestone anniversary, relocation, new owner, and new location ribbon cuttings.
Member Plus Package to include your event listing on the Chamber website, event marketing is included in the Chamber's weekly digital newsletter, local media are invited to report the event [the Chamber cannot guarantee the event attendance by the media], the Chamber will provide a staff member to facilitate your ceremony, large ceremonial scissors and keepsake ribbon are provided, an album of digital event photos of your ribbon-cutting ceremony to be posted on Chamber’s social media, and a:30-:60-second video "Reel" will be shared on the Tullahoma Chamber’s Facebook and Instagram pages with your business being tagged when applicable. A one-time fee of $75 is charged for a Member Plus Ribbon-Cutting.
Plan ribbon cuttings at least three weeks in advance. Requests will be considered on a first-come-first-serve basis. Ribbon cuttings cannot be held on a holiday or the same day as a scheduled chamber event. Dates will be held or added to the Chamber calendar once this form is completed in full. Members will be contacted with the next available date if a requested date is unavailable.
Please list your preferred date(s) and time for your event - We recommend you list more than one date. Ribbon cuttings are typically held Monday-Friday at 10:00 AM or 2:00 PM. We will try to accommodate special requests when we are able. Any applicable fees must be paid by the event date to guarantee services. The Chamber cannot guarantee attendance at your event.
You should consider hosting an open house with your ribbon-cutting ceremony. Invite your clients, neighbors, family, friends, and colleagues, and promote your event on social media and to other groups you may be a part of. Facility tours and reception are recommended after the ceremony. You may also place a guest registry and/or bowl to collect business cards for giveaways and database development.
Grand Opening Ribbon Cuttings should be reserved within 1 year of business opening. All other Ribbon Cuttings will be considered a Member Plus Ribbon Cutting. Milestone Anniversary, New Location, New Business Owner, or Renovation/Expansion. If you do not see your celebration type listed above but would like to host a ribbon cutting, please contact tullahomachamber@tullahoma.org to see if your business is eligible.
Please include as much information as possible so we may best promote this event. Will you provide light refreshments or event catering? What prize(s) will you give away? Will you have any special promotions, tours, or activities during the event? Is there a special guest present? Please list anything notable for the benefit of attendees.
