Training Exercise for Active Shooter at Tennova Healthcare Harton on
Friday July 27, 2018

Tullahoma police will conduct an active shooter drill at Tennova Healthcare – Harton on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

The exercise is intended to help law enforcement and the hospital staff prepare for their roles during an active shooter situation. Officers will be trained to use the latest equipment and tactics to stop such an attack.

Pedestrians and motorists in the area may hear screams, and simulated gun fire during the drill.

“We want the public to know that this is an exercise and not to be alarmed,” said Captain George Marsh. “The drill is a culmination of months of planning, and will prepare us for an incident that will hopefully never occur.”
